Really nice little shooter! I was impressed with the level of detail put into this. I noticed a typo in the instructions: Flak cannon used with "G" button, that is supposed to be Mouse Left most likely. Since G always throws a grenade.
Overall the game reminded me of the old shooter 'Meteor', and it was a little bit similar to the title we worked on - Years of Danger: Please login to see this link.
I especially appreciated the storytelling, the dialogue and destructible environments. Some minor complaints could be the lacking atmospheric music in some maps, when the initial tune has ended. Another ambient tune could fade in after that. Also, there are some overlaying sound effects like the destruction of the flak cannons. And sometimes it is hard to scroll the weapons with mouse wheel. I would appreciate some tiny cooldown between scrolling the weapons, and to have them assigned in number keys on keyboard

The pc and android versions are quite different But I'll be happy to listen to some feedback!

Glad to have worked on this! I remember doing 3D art for this two years ago, rendering some level assets and such. It's the first realistic historical game that I've worked on, as I wouldn't count Kalaban being set in a real history Finland.

Howdy!
We have just released a new topdown shooter on Steam! Your task is to defend the air force base against two million invading enemies, and survive as long as you can. The game includes a high score list, a survival mode with advancing waves and different types of invading foes. 'Area 51 Defense' is currently in Early Access and we're developing it as we go along.
I have built the game on the older 'Hordelands' code base, and given it some modifications. I'm still in progress of porting the game to mobile.

Please login to see this link.Now I have decided to release this MFA with instructions on ClickStore. The code is a bit unreliable with the saving and loading though. The editor / game does not have a correct function for saving deleted items to be deleted, but this can be fixed with saving an extra altvalue.
Anyways, have fun exploring this example project, and hopefully it fuels somebody's imagination to create their own level editors / map tools!

Yup! It's random, but I think the algorithm could be improved for the upcoming update.

In the newest version there is a new location for players level 2 and higher, and the bonus card issues have been fixed a bit. I found it more stable than the previous versions myself

Yeah, you definitely have to get it on Steam or some other big online game store GameJolt is pretty dead these days in my opinion.
