Is there a simple way to create cellular automata in Fusion 2.5 without using extensions? I mean something like Conway's Game of Life.
I have an Active Object, that is a black square sized 10x10. I want it to have a random lifetime of some seconds and I want it to create a new cell in random range of some seconds, at a random position right next to it. If a position with an already excisting cell on it is choosen, the loop should be repeated until a free space is found.
I've found an older example here in the forums, that is using the Surface Object, but the code is too difficult for me to understand (the code is not commented either).
Ok, I know that there already are threads like this. I read them all and none of them could help me.
I'm trying to create a simple music player on Android, that keeps playing the music, while being in the background (i.e. if the Home-Button is pressed). This is not an internet stream player, the music is in the apps folder / phones memory. Further on, the user should have the possibillity to set a sleep timer, that closes the app after the set set time.
Is this possible with Clickteam Fusion Developer 2.5? If yes, how?
This is a good point. I was thinking that app development is another thing than game development, but you are right. I didn't see it totally from that perspective. I already checked out Nivrams page and snails tuts. I will keep it going with that, these are really good resources and I already learned a lot from this.
I found a hell of tutorials for this great software, via the Clickteam website, via YouTube and I also bought two books and I can really give it a go with that. The only problem is: Only for the creation of games. Which is really great, but I want to learn all the details about creating android and windows apps. I really have just minimal clues how to use some of the extensions. I could spam the Clickteam community with my questians, or work myself from thread to thread, but I wonder if there are some quality "app making" tutorials out there. Let me know!
Thank you very much! When I come to this point, I'll try to figure this out. The project is still an idea, I just fiddled around with some of the objects I consider to use when the time comes to get practical. An app of this kind could really be a big help for me. An why not create and learn something, when Clickteam makes it possible. You will see it on the forums if I ever finish this. I will show it. So, thanks again.
Thank you for your answer. Okay, that is a good idea. No problem with the copyrights, I am a producer and sound designer and seeking for a way to promote and sell my work. So one thing left: I have to figure out the webview object and for the payments I will use a Wordpress eCommerce template, that should do the best for protecting the links.
So, I know that there is the possibility to use the In-App payment function in my creations, but I think this is not the way of solution for my problem: I'm creating an app via that users should be able to buy and download music files, but I can't figure out a way how this should work. Do I maybe have to create something like a website access "out of the app" where users then can buy the music? I'm out of ideas how to solve it, maybe you people have a clue for me.
Hey, thanks for the quick answer! You helped me out, that is great. No confusion in there, I could follow and just tried the last option and it worked fine for my program.
I am new to this amazing software and faszinated by it's easy of use. I am already energetically crawling through the many tutorials out there, but sometimes I am having difficulties with the methods I can us ein the Events Editor. In this case I am nearly finished with the Fruit Catcher tutorial, but I'd like to modify the time, the fruits are dropping from the spacecraft to a random range between (i.e.) 5 and 10 seconds. I choosed calculate for the Timer/Every event, and found the operator RRandom and seconds but I don't know how to write the expression correctly. Would one of you wise guys please help a beginner?
