It's development must be very difficult since it's now going on 9 years in the making of it...

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I had done some searching to simply see if anymore development has been done on Fusion 3 ?! It has now been: 8 years, 4 months, and 4 days since the initial log was posted on the Clickteam site back on October 11, 2016 and it is now February 14, 2025...
I realize that the development team has other projects and obligations that they need to tend to of course! However, was simply just curious to ask if it still exist and eventually will come to fruition as their next line of a product?! With limited resources and more primary priorities in line first and foremost, I can fully understand the teams current vision and needed current obligations. And of course it does take time to develop a solid product to deliver what has been planned for it's outcome. Just asking in a very friendly manner is all with all due respects to everyone! God bless... -
Good day All,
As the title says above. I am in need to have an extension developed for Sub-Pixel movements for active objects in future projects of mine. This is a paid project starting at $500.00 to begin the work. And upon completion and satisfaction of the extension will be an additional said amount. I realize that Sub-Pixel movement can be done via variable assignment and such.. But I would rather have a simple extension to just drop into the said frame and through the event editor reference the said object(s) with an assignment to the object(s) X and Y parameters with float numbering assignment for a smooth movement of the said object(s) in question. Please send me an email at: doctorwho3dgx@yahoo.com or message me here or both! Many thanks in advance to any that replies to this request.
Specification Below:
Extension Use: Windows Only!
Movement Type: General Active Object Use Only! - ( Not for any particular type or style Just a standard Sub-Pixel movement extension object to apply a given sub-pixel movement using float values. )Example: Set SPX position to SPX( "Active" ) + 0.3
Example: Set SPY position to SPY( "Active" ) + 0.3 -
Popcorn - You wouldn't by chance happen to have an example of that in a mfa file would you?

You can create an object wherever you want through events. Just set the position of the object directly after in the same event. There is a random pool object. Also you can use a list which you populate with id's beforehand.
" Just set the position of the object directly after in the same event "
This is the problem Popcorn, I need the events/actions to be able to randomly pick a given location also to create the active object instance at the location randomly selected through the events/actions. The "Create Object" only allows direct selection which will not work in my particular situation here unfortunately!

Got a challenging situation guys..
Need to find an efficient way to accomplish this task for a project I'm working on at the moment.
1. 18 active objects
2. Need to randomly select 1 active object out of the pool of 18.
3. Create that active object instance at a given location on screen through event/actions.
4. Loop and randomly select another active object and Create randomly at a different screen location.I realize there is different ways to accomplish this outcome however it seems there is no easy direct way to do this through the given options currently available in fusion 2.5. I know that there is the "Pick random object from zone" which would work well if the "Create Object" had a way through events/actions to allow you to create the active object instance at a given location using eventing/actions. However this doesn't seem to be the case and the "Create Object" is very limited sadly! If anyone can come up with a solution to this problem it would be greatly appreciated indeed! Please post any examples with mfa file attachment if possible. Many thanks in advance guys. God Bless always...

Are you seriously kidding? Clickteam is the Original Creators of the software the lets anyone with an idea bring their ideas to life! Clickteam was the ones that started it all with their very unique and brilliant software design that many other companies copied after...
As far as updates are concerned.. I recently just received 2 updates for fusion 2.5. Yves and the whole entire Clickteam team work extremely hard to fix their software and keep it stable and solid and great always! The Fusion 2.5+ is NOT a regular update as updates are normally for bug fixes and performance improvements. Fusion 2.5+ adds features that wasn't already there in the core of Fusion 2.5. And just like with any company that brings newer versions to their already existing software that DOES IN FACT come with a price tag for those NEW and extra features to help the user of the software be more productive in their works! I had absolutely no problem paying the price being asked for what was being added to the core of Fusion 2.5 to make things more easier and productive for my own projects! I appreciate very, very much all the hard work and efforts that Yves and the entire team of Clickteam do for us all here! Without them Fusion 2.5 and future versions wouldn't exist period! As many others have said previously.. We all should be very glad and thankful for them asking such reasonable and affordable prices as they do. A lot of companies nowadays are sticking their user base with the Subscription model which in my opinion I think is a very BAD IDEA!! All of us already have enough monthly, semi-monthly, yearly bills that we have to pay for our everyday use! This is one of the reasons I never went with other competitors today just because of that! The cold hearted facts are simple here.. Fusion 2.5+ is a new product, and with that comes a price tag for what you would be getting from it! If you do not agree with it.. Do not buy it! If you think it's worth the investment.. Buy it!! It is really that simple! And Clickteam has to not only run a business like any other business.. They have to also survive and live just like the rest of us here! For me, I believe in supporting the developers because that in itself is what brings us all new tools to make our own jobs much better in the near future and also it's nice to play with new TOYS as well! Keep us the great work Yves and the rest of the Clickteam team.. Your efforts are very much appreciated and your Software is always awesome 100% -
Yves - I understand and know that Fusion 2.5 has fast Loops. I was merely referring to fast loops working with the sub-Events / Child-Events in Fusion 2.5+ addon to Fusion 2.5. I had remembered that somewhere I had seen this in regards to Fusion 2.5+ and was trying to verify this was correct before proceeding to code this in my project is all. I kind'a thought that it would though. Just needing some further input is all! Thanks guys!
-
As I have been working with and using Fusion 2.5+ I got to thinking to myself.. Does Fusion 2.5+ work with Fast Loops? I think I read somewhere that it does but cannot find the exact text that says that?!? Anyone here that might know if Fusion 2.5+ works with Fast Loops? Many thanks in advance guys and gals. God bless!

I salute you on your very positive outlook Volnaiskra and agree with you on the gaining of skills through out every project whether it succeed's or not! At least you gave it your all in so doing.
-
I would say that quiting your job to work fulltime on your fusion project / game was a very risky but ambitious move on your part Volnaiskra.. I wish you and your family well and great success to boot! God bless!!

Indeed they are!

Michel_Skowronski - OUCH!!!
Getting aggressive at Clickteam like that is not only very Un-Professional... It's absolutely Wrong!!! The guys at Clickteam here are a great bunch of guys and are very fair to everyone here! This could of been addressed in a lot more appropriate way with a better attitude and some patience wouldn't of hurt either. Yves & Jeff.. Keep up the great work you do and thanks always for everything you guys do and all the hard work! God Bless always.

From everything I have seen so far it looks like Fusion 2.5+ will make a huge impact on the logic end of things and cut down immensely on lines upon lines of conditions / actions, custom qualifier groups ect.. So happy that this finally made it into fusion 2.5 as this should be leaps & bounds beyound what it once was before!
-
Just now purchased Fusion 2.5+.. I will be playing around with it this weekend and update this thread later on how it is and functions. Hopefully this will make a big difference on my future projects.
-
I think I'll give this a go and see how it might help my existing and future projects. I've had clickteam fusion for quite some time now and compared to the others I still prefer it over the others any day!
-
After seeing all the new features in this add-on I had thought to myself if Fusion 2.5+ was some sort of a tide me over until' Fusion 3 is released thing?! I kinda' wonder now though if this might be true in this regards?! The world may never know?? :-p
-
Hello All,
I was wanting to get some honest opinions in regards to the new Fusion 2.5+ add-on for Fusion 2.5.
And wanted to see what impact and difference it has made on others development with their fusion projects. Is it fairly stable and bug free? Is it worth the investment? I'm planning to make a purchase if It makes a big
difference in the development process. Please post your replies below and many thanks in advance guys & gals! -
