Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
I have this problem sometimes with the backdrop my player walks on but in the case I am currently trying to figure out the issue concerns when the player overlaps an active object.
The issue is this: The player presses a button that sets off one of the active object's animations (a button press). If the player moves forward into the button while it is mid-animation (button has been pushed) and then the animation ends (button returning to its original animation), the player then begins to slowly float into the button and eventually just gets dragged down through the platform it was walking on before and eventually off-screen. So ultimately this glitch occurs when an active object suddenly overlaps another one.
I am using the platform movement object and the collision in this case is between two active objects. I'm assuming this is a common issue, could someone lend some advice? Thanks!
Haha yeah I know. Prev I had just mmf2 so I went ahead and bought 2.5 for $15. I wasn't positive at first whether I wanted the exporters or which I wanted at that point.
Dude that's cool of you Yeah I played it for a while and it was pretty fun. I need to buy the flash exporter so I can upload flash games onto gamejolt so it's easier for people to get into.
Yeah yours worked best aenever I just finished an "episode" for the game and uploaded it to gamejolt. Here's the game page if you want to see it: Please login to see this link.
The cupcake being destroyed after leaving the virtual area (in one of the hidden parts of the game) is what I used from your example. Much thanks!!!
I'm trying to make the cupcakes that are shot out to be destroyed after it leaves the virtual area but I'm not having much luck. Anyone feel like helping me out?
I've been working on this game for a little while and I decided to stop before expanding too much into it. Please try out the game, as of now it only has two levels. There is the beginning level and then a boss level, which I will add levels in between but just want some people's input on mechanics and what they like/dislike about it. I set the boss level to easy for now just for testing purposes.
This game is very early in development so there is much much more to be added in. Please let me know what you think, and if you notice any glitches.

Can you delete the red laser bomb thing and resend it? It's a pinball object so I can't open it in 2.5 demo. Someday i'll be able to buy the full version, because its hard to do much community wise now with MMF2.
Okay cool, can I send you the .mfa file? It's actually made on MMF2 but I had to post it in this forum because the other never gets enough attention, but I think a MMF2 file works with Fusion 2.5.
I have posted several times asking people to help me with this but no one has actually fully resolved my problem. I am trying to get my character to shoot green bullets in the direction he is facing while on the ground, jumping up and down, and jumping while moving. Here is the code I have so far. Please login to see this attachment.
I cannot test your game right now, but seems like your problem is because you are shooting in the direction of the active object, and that direction changes when jumping (up when jumping up, down when falling).
remove the "shoot in the direction of active" event, create a variable that holds the value of the left or right direction when that key is pressed, and then just shoot in that direction instead.
I can't fix this for the life of me. Can I send you the .mfa file for you to have a look at?
I think the games change what people thought possible of a 2D engine. Not just this one, the others as well, but especially this one. And yes it definitely inspired people to take up game designing.
