Nice coverage there -what do you do to get coverage like that? is it a simple matter of sending out tweets to youtubers?
Also - you have a PC version now? thats cool - are you releasing it on game jolt or some other similar site?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Hey Jeff! Thanks! I been working on this for a little over 2 months I think now in between things. I recently changed the entire user interface and have the game at a pretty solid state with all the sound effects in. Everything is as it was planned when I set out to make this from the beginning, so thats cool! Next I'm putting in portraits for the 2 main characters and will be have their lines recorded tomorrow, as well as beginnings of that implementation. I really hope I can get this game out this month!
zip2kx! I use a lot of motion graphics work as a 'videographer' so I have my greasey mitts on the adobe suite - so to make my gnarly effects I use 'After effects' - I've had several years to learn a thing or two so I know how to make some pretties here and there with it.
& congrats on ur blockbuster success with Block Rider XD
Thanks - I'm rolling in so much cash its silly, I've begun throwing coins at cats - Hopefully they will get the jist of my charity and they will soon begin to dance for me

Welcome to the official space shootah 'BLAST MASTERS' game thread!
After the massive commercial success that was Please login to see this link. - ahaha XD
I set about making a sequel to the game for mobile. But what started out as a simple extension of the first game turned into a completely different fish - with many lasers and explosivesagainst asteroids and space pirates. All in all a new fish.
The story revolves around Monty - an aristocratic clueless gentleman who lost his family fortune to space pirates. Left with one small space fairing vessel, he sets out to reclaim his fortune with his best friend and homicidal Artificial Intelligence he named 'Terrence' - surely the next best thing since 'The Odd Couple'
So far I have alot of the core game mechanics down and dusted with plenty of bug fixes and kinks ahead of me I know I will enjoy!
High scores need implementing, more sound effects and achievements with stat tracking across your piratical space fairing career as well. So lots to do still but its at a stage I'm comfortable showing it off here.
This video showcases the changes I have made so far - as well as the new soundtrack inspired by a certain series with cowboys in space... you may of heard of it.

If anything its a great way to look at how far I have come. And how the game has progressed in development.
So as I said - I'll be updating this thread with my developments - and obviously taking feedback and criticisms to improve what I have so far.
I'm thinking of adding a section where you fly over a planet to mix up the surroundings but I'm already a victim of feature creep... I'll see what happens!
Please - leave any words and such here and I'll be sure to take a gander and we can have werds and such!

That trailers cool man - I'm about to get up in my own trailers grill. And looking at yours makes me look forward to making mine... that is until I've spent several hours clobbering it together with no end in sight
-
Diverging from looking at game development - I give a little tutorial on how to alter your voice to sound like Cabal from cnc: tiberian sun.
Using this process for my upcoming space shooter.

Hawt stuff - I'm looking into this prett hard

Thankyou Mr Baxter! - I'll definitely be making more of these as it cuts up game development and in a way gives me a break. Also - don't say I'm a genius, I can only get so erect

Oh man thanks guys. I never actually expected people to watch them... also suprise! here is another video. Sorry for the lateness of updates. Christmas can be a bit bollox sometimes -
Well from how I see it - you can buy a game - simple enough on iOS for $1 and usually not expect a pay-to-win in game purchase mechanism. As you have already paid.
In contrast with free to play games which usually have a system of buying 'gold' or 'gems' for the same price, and usually alot more up to $50 on some games. All to buy extra upgrades or alter the look of your character. People if invested enough in a game that is free can justify to themselves to spend money on something they have already played and put time in. Whilst the un-certainty of a paid game leaves people wary.
Just my 2 shiny coins

I'm very much insecure here. I'm developing a new game and I show my very inefficient way of game theorizing and planning

These are good! and very useful! what I'm after now though really is more spritesheet based characters - like the zombies in the video above. but... more people etc. I have found some knights and skeleton warriors - which are great but don't really gel well with what I'm after. At this point I'd be happy with some 3d models I'll pose myself
