Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
I have to make a decision regarding which engine I should use to create an RPG game. As all of most of you on this forum love working with Clickteam Fusion. I feel it is an amazing tool to create virtually all types of games, but I am not sure if it is the best choice for developing an RPG with. I realize I would have to create all of the supporting foundation systems like inventory, classes, shops for buying and selling, NPC alliances (for example enemies, friendlies or neutral) etc., I am on the fence whether or not to undertake the enormous effort it will be to create the supporting systems or use a game engine which is geared to creating RPG games. My RPG engine choice would be 001 Game Creator which is a really extensive engine for creating RPG games with, however, in my opinion the documentation is really lacking in content and I find myself having to post questions on the 001 Discord channel which can take days to get an answer to a question. with Clickteam Fusion I can usually just google a question if I get stuck and get the answer quickly and if not, I can post on the Discord channel and get an answer quickly. Of course there are other RPG engines I could choose but I have tried most if not all of them and I find them lacking compared to 001 Game Creator.
So my question to everyone, has anyone tried creating an RPG game or is anyone currently creating one with Clickteam Fusion ? If so can you share some of your experiencing you have had doing it ?
I want to create a game like Ultima with a similar interface and also have dungeons with an interface like the later versions of Wizardy or Might and Magic. Can you recommend any sites that have information supporting the development I would like to do ?
I realize this is an old question, however if you are still having issues make sure, at least in Windows 11 that the two items are checked off under Multiple displays. 1) Make this my main display, Remember windows locations based on monitor connection. I realize you mention the first was checked off. Uncheck all two or three items, recheck them and restart. When I have the first one unchecked I experience the same issue as you. Also, which monitor does it boot off of?
Hello everyone, I am very new to CT Fusion2.5 and need help with getting the camera to follow my player. I have a simple screen with resolution of 2560 x 960 and one active object which is my player. I have setup an Always event and under the Scrollings menu item have chosen Center Window Position in Frame relative (0,0) to my player. When I move my player it just moves until it goes off the screen. I have been trying to get this to work for hours and decided to ask you guys. Thanks.
