Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

My aged Windows PC is on its knees with Critical Process Died errors.... So - time to replace it. Looking at the specs for Fusion 2.5, it stops at Windows 10 and isn't available for ?the latest Mac version.
So, what are you all developing on? Any new machine I get will come with Windows 11 or the latest Mac version....

OK, I've shed some tears and slept on it, so here's a better send off:
Paul inspired thousands of gamers worldwide with his open hearted, infectious enthusiasm and his technical brilliance. A truly lovely man, who will leave a huge hole in our hearts. He just was. His posts on the forum brought peace and a welcome to everyone. Not just useful information and great examples, but a compelling invitation to join in and belong.

I'll miss him. Without Paul, the first convention wouldn't have happened. The idea began because we wanted to meet this guy who produced such amazing games! When Francois said he was going to come too, that was an added bonus

Is there yet any way of picking up external keyboard presses from within an iOS app?
Cheers

If you haven't splurged the cash already, have a look at these.
Best of luck!

It's a commercial one, cosmos. Mind you, I haven't tried loading it into the latest build of MMF.... It has groups of option buttons on the subapps that you can bring up when you need to make changes in the main app. Do you have the subapp frames within the same app as the main frames?
-
Try renaming your stuff, leaving out the word Void. It could be a system word, and thus causing internal confusion.
Have you called your item "Global Value"? Again, a dodgy name. And it's a string, so should be in quotes.
-
What name have you given your Global Value?
-
Do you have the ini on more than one frame? Check that you've set the ini to the same destination on all frames in your app.
You can also find your file by clicking on the Windows Start button and then on Recent Items. When the Notepad file pops up, click on Save As - and you can read its location in the top bar - Cancel, obviously

I'm converting an old app for iOS. Despite checking the XCode Project option, the code for file selector from the File Object still works. Shouldn't it be disabled, since it won't work on the iOS device?
-
If you click 'Create ini in Application Data folder' in the Ini Properties Settings tab - that's where it puts in on your PC:
Computer > System (C: ) > Users > YourUserName >AppData > Roaming > MMFApplications
-
I have an old app that has subapps + main app fullscreen simultaneously - control swaps between them.
-
I just noticed you can't set custom animations in the behavior editor.
You need to refer to the animation by number, not by name. In the Change Animation Sequence window, click on the Use a Calculation button. User animations start at number 12.

Way hey! There are some new actions in Storyboard controls since I last worked in MMF
Full screen mode and Windowed mode. Problem solved.

Set Counter to 0
Alterable value A (Group.Enemies) = 2
.......Set Counter to 1
Counter =0
+ Alterable value A (Group.Enemies) = 3
.......Set Counter to 2
Counter=2
.......(Group.Enemies) Destroy -
Why do you want to count the number of objects that don't exist?
Set Counter to 0
Alterable value A (Group.Enemies) = 1
Set Counter to 1Counter =0 ---> No enemies with alterable value A=1 exist.

I have several old 640*480 apps that use both the file selector and change resolution mode. They work fine on old machines.
However, when you have a high resolution modern screen, and switch in-game to the file selector, you only see the top quarter. There are no scroll bars, so some files can be inaccessible.
Is there a solution?

Does this extension allow keyboard input into iPad? Anybody tested it for that yet?

The reason is you have made it with yourself, only one man.
Yeah, but what a man, eh?I don't think he's shown the best bit on that video either. He has robots building bases - fabulous. It looked really good projected huge up on the wall. I did find the utter ruthlessness of it all a bit shocking actually - but I'm not the intended market [grin]
