Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Clickteam.

    Hey,

I know you wish to promote your app - but I don't appreciate you trying to curve people away by posting on my Paint My World trailer video saying 'here is a good android app' and then posting a link to this.

Just doesn't seem very polite. I have removed your comment. The video also gained a dislike from somewhere suspiciously at the same time as your comment - not that I can prove that but if that is you it's a very low thing to do.

Normally I wouldn't post here and keep my distaste private, but I feel other developers may need to be aware.

Paint My World is now available in the Google play store! The app is available as a free download that lets you complete the tutorial island (first 6 levels) before asking you to purchase the game to progress. Spread the word! Tell your Kids, Friends, Families, pet dogs and cats, Share on Facebook, Twitter etc (you get the idea)! For anyone purchasing any positive reviews are of course greatly appreciated :) We will be continuing to update the game in the future to fully polish off any bugs and bits that we have missed (let's face it, there are always things you miss)

Hello everyone! I am proud to present to you (finally after far to many years of project work on and off) Paint My World!

To quote from our website ( Please login to see this link. )- An epic puzzle platforming game which is aimed at all ages! Each new world offers new challenges and traps, as we keep the game fresh and interesting throughout.

The aim of the game is to complete a series of objectives on each level, these include painting blocks, destroying enemies, saving babies, and a variety of other things.

As an idea of how I might do it - Those hand types are pre-defined - So as soon as you have detected your combination set a value to that player based on that combination.
    so pair = 1, two pair = 2, three of a kind = 3, straight = 4, flush = 5, full house = 6, Four of a kind = 7, and straight flush = 8 (and royal is the same hand)

ie: you detect player one has a pair, so his hand is ranked as number 1
you detect player two has two pair, so his hand is ranked as number 2
you detect player three has a flush, so his hand is ranked as number 5

Now once you have the highest ranked hands, any that match ie: two players have a flush, you can throw the other players combinations away and just deal with those two etc - they can then be checked to see who has the higher flush by finding out who has the highest card value? You then have your winner, or split depending on the result.

Yeah it was originally a flash version :) - and yes that was several years ago! This project should have been finished quite some time back but other life orientated things got in the way. I am pleased it is finally out, now I just need to hope it does well in the store :)

If you lost your work - take it as a lesson and make regular backups. These ideally need to be somewhere not on your machine.

One easy way out from doing this is to make a dropbox account, and work on your project from inside the dropbox. Dropbox will save backups of your deleted files for the past X (30?) amount of days on a free account, this means you don't need to remember to make the backup - or do anything about it, just let dropbox deal with it automatically, then you can just re-download a file you lose.

Always backup your work! And always make multiple versions of your file when you do big changes incase you need to go back to a previous build.

Most of us have been there at some point -and it teaches you to always backup your work :P

I just looked at the tutorial and to try to help you -

    1) The event to stop the ground is in the group Game.Outro - this group gets activated when you die - I would check to make sure the event is inside that group and that you have the event.

    2) These events appear to be in the same group as above (only had a quick glance mind) - I would check you are activating this group and your events are inside properly. The other thing to check is the order of your events, if you look at the event list editor (the 4th icon of the different views frame editor, event editor etc) and make sure you are creating the object before trying to display it as the events state.

    Hope this helps.

Now this game is 'finished' to the extent it is now accepted under the iOS testflight program, and I am looking for some testers.

Initially the game will launch on iOS, and shortly after Android.

The game will be going on sale at £2.39 or your regional equivalent so testers are essentially getting to play for free! (how nice of us! Early Access anyone?)

Anyhow although I am looking for general testing one thing I am after is a variety of devices, currently the games analogue stick / buttons are set to a certain position based on an ipad 2 air's resolution. This means that say on the iphone 5s the buttons are out of proportion and squashed up - I will be able to fix this if I can see some screenshots of how it looks on the devices.

Primarilly I am after iPhone 6, and iPhone 7 shots - however any device can be accepted for testing as I still need the game generally tested!

If you want to take part just drop me a private message here and I will send you an e-mail invite, you will be required to install the test flight app on your device which will then allow to enter a code which will be e-mailed to you to download the game.

Now some extra bits to show off the game -

Why does it matter if he re-directs to promote his channel? If he gathers an audience of new clickers that way, from the clickteam site which will be the #1 source of gaining new viewers. What is the harm? It's also beneficial to the users as they are more likely to see his other videos that may help them. Am I missing something?

Even if his tutorials are basic and / or not the 'best' way of doing things, sometimes learning the novice way is better when you are starting out. Especially if you are 12 years old and just getting into programming of any kind.

It freezes the frame at the start of every ogg music track which means I can have a level with an intro, click to start, then I get a 2 second or so complete freeze and this is on an ipad air 2 - not sure what will happen on other devices yet. It kind of ruins the immersion and looks a bit messy - kind of ashame as I would like to keep the quality of the file rather than go to wav or risk the royalty part of mp3's. Is there nothing that can be done about this?
