Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I second PixelatedPict. I've got a really simple game with no fastloops running and a simple vertical scroll event causes the FPS to drop from 60 to 25-30 on my Samsung Galaxy S II.

I can post the source code to the game tomorrow (and isolate any unneeded events) if there's need for it, but it really looks like the scrolling simply lags up the game.

VST's are kind of plugins to the music software, I'm pretty sure all of those software support them (I've only used Tracktion though).
They can be different instruments or effects, for example I'm using a VST called Amplitube 2 that works as a virtual guitar amplifier and lets me set the sound I want for my guitar recordings.
They can also be used to make MIDI data sound like a real instrument (for example when recording with a keyboard that outputs MIDI), also stuff like autotune etc.

    Hey,

It seems the download link is broken, and the extension list on your site gives me the bug DizzyDoo described.

Great extension, by the way! Saves me a lot of time :)

Edit: Ah, it seems it is fixed after all, I'm doing something else wrong. I'll figure it out. Sorry for the trouble!

Hi, I've tried to debug this for a while but I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. It's probably something really simple.

The extension works fine for the first move, sometimes the second and third moves work as well. After that it goes crazy, and I can't seem to be able to find the problem at all.

If any of you have some spare time, would you mind taking a look? The code is pretty simple.

Please login to see this link.

(Oh, and press "space" after the player stops to move again)

I've heard that argument many times. I mean the "Megaupload sucked anyway" one. I'm unsure if you all understand that this isn't just Megaupload ceasing to exist, but it could lead (and maybe already has?) to many other sites taken down. Shouldn't we be worried that the US can do something so easily and without proper reasons?

I will have to agree with the others on the Minecraft case: it was only made in Java because it wasn't supposed to be such a big project. The latest Call of Duty runs better on my machine than Minecraft, because it's not coded in Java. I'm not a great programmer but from one class (30h) of Java programming I can already tell that C/C++ is way faster, it's not a secret at all.

I don't see the problem here anyway: Jamie said they will still continue supporting Java in MMF2 and extensions will be ported if people request them a lot. From what I've understood in this thread people just don't actively use Java in MMF2 as much as Flash, so it makes perfect sense to me to prioritise Flash extensions.

We'd need more information. Are you sure the object limit (default 500) isn't reached? This can be changed in the frame properties.
What is your firing condition and action?
If you want, you can upload the source code of your game here: mfa.aquadasoft.com and link it to this thread so we can have a look at it.

Also, for the record, the file you double click to open and edit your game is the .mfa source file. If you're still having problems, try uploading that file here: Please login to see this link.

Then post the link of your uploaded file to this forum and we will have a look and tell you what you need to change!

I thought they just tried to pass SOPA and then, with that excuse, take down Megaupload. When SOPA didn't pass they just took it down anyway. I agree that especially small content creators / companies can be in a bad position when their content is uploaded to a file sharing website, but I don't think shutting down the whole website because some users didn't follow the rules is a bit harsh.

I wouldn't know how legitimate the site was or wasn't, but so far all I've heard is "they paid money for illegal content uploaders" without any kind of a link to any article.
