Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
Well from posts I read on Nifflas' forums, it seems as if it was a deal between Nifflas and the publisher to make it Wiiware only. But I really don't know any more than that
I believe it was that Nicalis (the company publishing Night Game) was the one to decide what the platforms for the game were going to be, not Nifflas. So Nifflas really didn't have any control over how the game was going to be published.
It's sad, I wanted to play the game on the PC too, oh well.
MMF2 cannot play mp3's because of the royalties required for it to be implemented in. In this case, I would recommend converting your files into .ogg (which has no royalties involved), or by using the DirectShow object.
But PNG looks better, and it still has a small file size. Personally, I would recommend PNG for all website graphics besides photos, but since it's your website, you can decide to use whatever graphic format you'd like to use.
Yeah, it would be nice if we could get these new extensions without having to download an entire bonus pack again just to install them...but I understand how it would be easy for new users who just installed the software to get them.
Can't say I play a lot of Click games, I'm not really a gamer. Enjoyed the Knytt games, Hempuli's offerings and was recently surprised by the Roly Poly Pumpkin game.
I am looking forward to Nick's RollerCoaster Project though.
Same. I've also played and liked Within a Deep Forest.
Just a quick question I had. Do you plan out your games before you start them? And if you do, what's the best way for doing so? I just wanted to ask this because I've wanted to start on a new game project, but I want to make sure that it doesn't die out too quickly by having a good plan of what I want to do beforehand.
That's what the Java Runtime is for. Go to the Application Properties and set the "Build Type" to Java Web Applet or Standalone Java Application. Then build your Java Application by going to File -> Build -> Standalone Application.
The current list of converted extensions (current list of extensions that can be used with Java is Please login to see this link..)
Hope this helps; if not please tell me.
Also, you might also want to keep in mind that the standalone Java files generated with MMF2 might not work/look correctly on mac. There's supposed to be a Java wrapper for MMF2 files for Mac coming soon, though....
