Release Steam compatible extension installs.

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I have a number of DEV/Non Dev only extensions which are not available on the CT ext manager but have been release on the extension forum. Please can these extensions be re-packages to work with steam release or could someone provide a zip?

I could really do with the MSSQL ext and don't have an up to date version.

  • I'm confused about what you mean by "steam compatible", all extensions are compatible with both Steam and non-steam versions.

Some extensions are packaged with installers which only detect non-Steam installations.

  • If you're desparate for that MSSQL extension, then you could probably fool the installer into thinking you have a real installation by creating some dummy folders and .exe files. Then once it's installed just move the files that it created into your steamapps\common\Clickteam Fusion folder. Annoying, to be sure, but it might work.

  • Close, but you couldn't do it that way as the installers check the registry for the Fusion install, so you could fool it with the right registry key changes.

  • ok, fair enough.

I guess you could just ask someone with a non-steam build to install it on their machine, then ZIP up the relevant files for you, DJFuego?
