Why are physics being offset in my game?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hello, as seen in this screen capture Please login to see this link. all of my physics objects seem to be getting offset by around 8 pixels to the left of every object. They are using the physics bouncing ball movement, with the hotspot exactly in the center. And the physics engine options are mostly the default, although I have tried increasing the position and velocity iterations with no success. The collisions are using "Ball" collides with "floor" (using qualifiers) > stop movement. The only other forum post I have found of this is back from 2013, and this still has yet to be fixed.

  • Is the hotspot centered for every frame in every animation for each of your physics objects excluding those with the Physics - Platform Movement?

It could be that you have the hotspot centered for one direction in the ball object but not the other directions or the hotspot is not centered in those floor objects.
