FLAPPY FIGHTER released on iOS!!!

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

  • no I haven't considered publisher investment yet XD literally busting my backside off trying to meet the week update deadline, I'm like "what was I thinking?!!!" XD

    I wasn't happy with putting out the online like that, so am trying to rework a better one. the collision bug has royally SCREWED ME OVER BIGTIME tho >__< it's virtually made it impossible to do, & the sound glitches are bad to. it cuts out the sound effects sometimes so the music just plays. so people can record the music...which I wanted to sell as a soundtrack.....CLICKTEAAAAAAM!!! XD

    good work on getting the a.i on hard, he can be a pain, & his handicap is just cleanly double yours! XD

    maybe I'll give the a.i sum more deadly tricks & punishes next time round >:) I was being nice lol.

    glad your enjoying, but don't let my games release stop your games release lol.

    [MENTION=6268]Fernando[/MENTION] pleeeeease fix the sound samples cutting out bug on ios. many players are starting to complain about it & I don't want to say it's a bug of the Clickteam Fusion package I'm using :(

  • need a small mfa to test this.

    there are I believe 2 audio bugs,

    1) one is the one that cuts out samples when playing on different channels,

    2) & the other is when apps lose sound on certain channels because of calls, Siri, opening & closing apps & stuff, this one is hard to recreate coz the devices are different & you don't have the same device as me.

    preparing example for the first bug.

    also can you explain again what was the difference between the blank, tick & square in the "play with audio" box on the play sample?

    here is an mfa with the first of the sound bugs. i play the same sample on sound channel 10, then 20, then 10 again quickly & it cuts out the channel 2 sample.

    this is how the sound bug error occurs
    if u play 2 of the same sounds overlapping on different channels, then play the sound again BEFORE letting the previous samples finish playing then it kicks in and only plays one at a time. but if you wait until the samples have all finished playing, then it lets you play them overlapping the next time.

    so in my example i play red, blue, red & it cuts out the blue sample & only plays 1 sample on the red channel.

    it plays both channel samples properly on the pc as you can here them playing together like an echo, but not on the ios device

    hope this helps find the fault.

  • mm i test this in an old 2016 runtime and it does the same, and this is correct since this is not a bug is a limitation you are using the same sound in ALPlayer, if you want to do that you can go and use AudioPlayer or make a copy of this sound and reuse for the other channel, i will ask Yves about this.

  • [MENTION=6268]Fernando[/MENTION] this is definitely a bug. you play the same sample on 2 different channels and it works, both simultaneously play & echo is heard (showing it has the capability to play on 2 channels & is not a limitation). but if you play the sample while its already playing on both channels, then instead of just cutting over the channel you play it on, it cuts the other channel out as well. & only works again if you let all the samples finish playing completely to the end.

    internally you are playing the same sound, see in your example that if you use two different sounds no error happens

    it works fine with the same sample....then it stops working. so something has gone wrong.

    it works & plays two of the same the first time, then it stops working when you play it the 2nd time X)

    if it didn't work the first time as well then fair enough, but it does work, so something is definitely bugged

    & yes it works with different sounds, but its super tedious to do & very unproffesional to have to have duplicates for every sounds in the whole game XD and also takes valuable memory memory which is precious on mobile devices, & low file size is one of my games selling points in my App Store pitch.

  • Sorry I haven't been paying attention and missed this. The most I can do is just watch the killer videos since I don't use apple products. This game looks killer though. What a cool idea of fusing flappy bird with streetfighter. It just works and works well. Gotta say I've never seen this combination. If this came to PC I'd definitely be on it in a tick. Keep up the awesome work man!
