Taking An Upscaled ScreenShot Possible?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Hi, I'm trying to find a way to take (and save) a screenshot that is upscaled ie..if my game is 640*480 I might want a screen saved at something like 1920*1080.

Is there anyway to do this (preferably in a web build)?

Oh..and also the possibility of grabbing shots that are much bigger than the users monitor resolution.. :)

  • I don't know for sure, but I'd say you probably can, using the Surface object. Look especially in the "Blitting" section. I know you can definitely take the visual contents of an Active as an image, scale it up (smoothly), and display and/or save it, so I imagine you can do the same from a screenshot.
