Stability issues (crashes) found by Google with latest build

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    I have recently updated my app and made the following changes:
    - added the admob object
    - build API changed from 30 to 33
    - Target Android version changed to 12
    Everything complies and works fine, but now the Pre-launch report says that I have 5 stability issues (crashes). This hasn't happened before. Below are the errors. Can you help me a bit , because I have no idea where to start ?
    Also, it cries about the Admob SDK:

  • Thanks, but can you notify me when it is ready to be tested? The way I see it - if I use the current version of Admob - the crashes will be too high and google will penalize my ASO.

    This should appear as ANR and not a crash.

  • Hi, great, just what image do you need?
    I found a test device (Samsung A52) that insta-crashes : after I install the app, it does not load at all - it crashes. I have the previous model as well (A51 , Android 13 too) - it works fine there.

    These are the new build settings I have used (it builds without issues using the jdk-11.0.17 or jdk-13.0.1)

    If I switch from " Build API : 33 and Target Android 12" to " Build API : 33 and Target Android 11" - the game no longer crashes on my test device, but Google Play does not accept it due to "Your app currently targets API level 30 and must target at least API level 31 to ensure that it is built on the latest APIs optimised for security and performance. Change your app's target API level to at least 31"

    I am not quite sure how to do that using Android Studio. For testing on various devices - I use the online version of Firebase. The tests show that the build (targeting Android 12) crashes on all devices with API 33.

    The log from Robotest on Pixel 6, API level 33 is below. It gives Native crash .

    I have just deleted every single line of code in the app (everything local and global ) and I left just one frame in it. It still crashes on API 33 (with Settings in the build: Build API 33, Min. android version 4.4 , Target Android Version 12.0).
    I plan to delete the admob object and the inApp object and test without both of them (I ran out of free tests for today).

    Could it be something related to the discussion here: Please login to see this link. ?

    Update: I have deleted the Admob object and still have 4 stability issues.

    Google decided to promote my game , which led to about 100k installations within this month , so I am really desperate to limit the crashes (and the possible penalty for the ASO).

    Further update: I have deleted everything from my game except for the Android object, Android Plus Object and few graphics. Still crashes.

    Hi, no, I did not promote it - Google did it for me (for 0 cost) . It turns out it has included the game in Related games ("You might also like") to some popular games. Now 96.5% of my installs are from Google Explore.
