HTML 5 Click Team "Tag" on Itch.IO

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Clickteam.
  • I've decided to put my games on itch.io and it's suuuuuuuuuper easy and super dope!!! I absolutely love it but when you make the game full screen, there's a massive 'tag' right below my game, basically mid screen for Click Team lol I looked at all of the options and settings in click team but don't see how to get rid of that. Any advice here? I included a screen shot. Thanks in advanced!!!

  • I only get that logo showing up when I chose 'Build and Run' to see how my game performs in HTML5 before hosting my games on itch.io

In my .mfa in the windows tab of the .mfa properties I select Resize display to fill windows size, Fit Inside (black bars), and Anti-aliasing resizing

In Itch.io I choose under embed options - the manual setting size and embed in page, and set the Viewport dimensions to match the .mfa dimensions & also select the Fullscreen button.

Doing this I don't see the logo, note though that I have the developer version (note sure if that makes a difference?)

  • Amazing!! Thank you!!! That resolved about 98% of my issue but now when I make it full screen in itch.io, there's a greyish/white bar at the bottom of the screen. Any idea where that's coming from and/or how to fix it? I tried to play with the height/width attributers in itch.io and they didn't make a different. I even made them extremely odd and out of proportion but same. When it's not full screen, the bar isn't there at all and everything works perfectly. I could technically remove the full screen option but gamers enjoy that for sure.

I attached screen shots and thanks again!!!

  • Maybe it's my browser. I went to your page (brilliant work by the way!!! top tier!!!) and your boxing game has it too when full size.

  • Sorry, I thought you you were talking about the fusion logo. Yeah you’re right, because it uses fit inside black bars, it fills the rest with a blank color. I haven’t worked out a way to get it to fit fullscreen perfectly. There doesn’t seem to be a way to control the blank color.

  • I fixed it!!! I selected "click to launch in full screen" and it's absolutely perfect. Try it and see if it works for you. The only knock is it seems to not play at all in a "mini screen" like my original screen shot but for my game and I believe yours, that's perfect

  • Maybe use the stretch to fullscreen option instead. It could distort your game some what, but if your size is fairly close it might still look ok?

Sorry dude, I didn't refresh and just saw your response lol my bad!!

At least for my game, selecting "click to launch in full screen" in itch.io fixed it for me. I'm 500% satisfied with this. Thanks for the info dude!!

  • Glad you sorted it out.

By the way, you could edit the Fusion generated html page of the application, and change the line where the Clickteam logo is loaded, and substitute that logo with your one - or delete it completely.

Furthermore, if you make a new version of the game, you only ned to upload the javascript file, while the html file remains the same. This way you don't have to edit that html page each time.

Hope this makes sense to you.

    Regards,

    Sergio

Thank you for replying!! Quick question regarding this part because I'm absolutely interested; how do I do this? That's basically what I was looking for. Is it done in fusion prior to build? I'm good with HTML but don't see anywhere to access/update such code. I double checked the build folder also and don't see anything there either. Thanks again bro!

***update*** I found it!! That's amazing info!!! Thank you!!! This is exactly what I was looking for initially and now have two great paths. Thank you for replying and thank you to the Aenever also. Thanks guys!!
