Hi, I've got an active picture object using a race car movement, and i would like to have it shoot missiles out of the front of the car. The problem I have is that I can't seem to find a way to set the action point of the active picture object. Any help would be appreciated!
Action Point on Active Picture Object
Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Why are you using the active picture object for the car? Wouldn't it be easier to use an active object for the car? I don't believe you can set the action point or hot spot using the active picture object.

for customization (loading up your own image) and smoother rotations. active objects work well, but are limited since you can't load up your own images at run time. active picture objects have a hot spot that can be modified at run time through the event editor, but doesn't seem to have anything for setting the action point.

Actives CAN load external images. Read the help file...

How are you able to do this? I don't know of any event that could let you do that. Unless you're talking about importing images into the picture editor, but that's not what he's talking about. Maybe I'm completely blind but I don't see a way lol.

Animation -> Load Frame

Firstly, as discussed above, you can load images into animation frames. Second, you can use the Scale and Angle -> Set Angle action to rotate in up to 360 different directions or 36000 in HWA with two decimal places of accuracy.

thanks for the info. i recently upgraded to mmf2 (i've been a user since Klick and Play on Windows 3.1 :)), so there's a lot of new features I'm getting acquainted with. I'll take a look into loading the images into active objects.

For some reason I must have assumed Load Frame did something else. I never had a reason to load external files so I never really bothered to check into it.
