How to move character!

Hi

I have been looking at an example simpleShip.mfa. I have also looked at commercial Android games like Lep´s World 1 and 2. Is it possible to control movement of a character by "sweeping" the screen with a finger (excuse my English - I do not know the correct word) like in iPad games and in Lep´s World 2.
Instead of ussing arrows you have to press.

I´m replying to myself. The control I want is similar as to Jeffs Cave Diver Tommy. Are there any eamples about how this is done?
