Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • The second thing that I'm really annoyed about is that it was said by clickteam that if you buy mmf2 before 5 December then it will be your cheapest way of getting it. This made me change my original plan to wait for the Steam version and get it. That info was completely wrong as the Steam version is not only cheaper it's also easier to get, and available now.
Plus Clickteam adds the "surprise" that there is a humble bundle. Ok fair enough I read that those HB don't qualify for an upgrade. Yet, I just read on the Steam page that Clickteam decided to do just that. I come here to copy the info to the people on Steam only to find that it was edited today to remove the Humble Bundle exclusions. So now it does qualify for an upgrade.

I'm sorry to say that This to me is seriously disappointing and unprofessional as I was led to believe I got the best deal. It s not as if I'm a long time customer. I got given false information. I'm not a guy who complains, this must be the first ever time I complain about a product on a forum but I really do feel a bit cheated here.

It puts quite a damper on the whole excitement of getting started and everything and doesn't inspire me with a lot of confidence if this is the way it all starts.

I would have rather spend my money on the exporters if I didn't get told that this was the absolute best deal to get.

    right!
i bought mmf2 one week ago and now i have to wait until sunday (or monday) + i paid more

  • hum... i don't understand this special price on the 5 december ? could someone tell me what was it ? actually, i see 92 euros. it is the prise to upgrade a mmf2dev to mmf2.5 dev ?

Little message for Clickteam : i didn't bought fusion 2.5 on steam, because i prefer that all the price go to CT. i bought CT product since MMF1 and TGF only on the CT store. May be, a special price on your first day on the CT store would be great ;)

  • it's open now, i just got mine :D the upgrade from mmf2 dev to f2.5 dev is only 39$ // 29€ fill in the form to get a voucher and use it on the store.
i tried adding the key to the forum profile but it doesn't seem like the forum is updated for f2.5 yet.

Please login to see this link. =)

  • arthurh, if you want to upgrade mmf2dev to mmf2.5 dev at the special price of about 29 € (I don't remember the exact sum), you should ask for an upgrade request here: Please login to see this link.
(make sure you put your mmf2 dev registration number) and then wait for the voucher/coupon by Jeff

  • Just had a thought, for those of us who bought CF2.5 through the store, instead of Clickteam issuing steam keys maybe we can use our clickteam license key on steam to unlock it, as explained Please login to see this link.

  • Cool, I tried my key and it said it was invalid but I figured sending valve a list of keys that could be activated would be easier for you guys than issuing lots of new keys :)

  • Hi Jeff. In the past I have owned Klik 'n' Play and TGF 1&2. I put in a successful upgrade request for Fusion 2.5 using my GF2 key, but then discovered that new users were receiving deeper discounts via the humble bundle deal. I hate to sound stingy, but money is real tight with xmas coming up, so I decided to pick up MMF2 via the humble bundle and send another discount request using that key. I haven't heard anything back this time though, so I wonder if there's an issue with putting in two requests? I will only be purchasing one copy for myself and won't be using my original discount code.

Sorry to bother you, but I hope you can let me know if there is a problem. If it's just that you're swamped, no worries...I'll be patient ;)

  • I’ve been away from Fusion for about three months now but it looks like I’ve returned at an exciting time; it great that Fusion 2.5 is here! I’ve just bought a Windows netbook for a good price so that I can get straight back into Fusion but I see that there is a Mac editor coming soon for Fusion 2.5. The netbook has a 14 day return policy so I need to know the answers to some questions:

Can I go without a Windows machine and do it all with my Mac…

    - When will the Mac editor be here?

    - Will the Mac editor be able to open and edit old MMF2 files?

    - Will the Mac editor work with my iOS and Android exporters?

    - Can I use the upgrade discount to buy the Mac editor and not buy the Windows version?

… or, if I need Windows, will this netbook cut the mustard?

    - I know Fusion 2 works well on low end machines but what about Fusion 2.5? Will it run well on Windows 7 Starter Edition on a machine with 1GB RAM?

It seems like you’re all really busy with things since the Fusion 2.5 release but if someone could answer these questions over the next few days I’d really appreciate it as I need to decide whether I should keep my netbook or return it.

I’d just like to add my congratulations to Clickteam on the launch of Fusion 2.5.

  • Hi CoffeeCup, i'm sure you're aware but you could run it through bootcamp until the Mac editor gets released, thats what i do at the moment.

I'll try to answer your questions although i'm not the authority on the subject, just from reading the forums over the last month or two and asking my own questions etc.

    - When will the Mac editor be here? i think the Mac editor is widely thought to be coming in Fusion 3.0 (so probably a year or 2 or 3 or 5 away), an exporter will most likely be sooner but that is just my opinion

    - Will the Mac editor be able to open and edit old MMF2 files? probably as all MMF/Fusion applications have been backwards compatible just unable to export to the older versions.

    - Will the Mac editor work with my iOS and Android exporters? again probably but the exporters would need to be updated to include a mac editor version of the exporter (installer etc)

    - Can I use the upgrade discount to buy the Mac editor and not buy the Windows version? too soon to tell as its probably a way off.

… or, if I need Windows, will this netbook cut the mustard? - I know Fusion 2 works well on low end machines but what about Fusion 2.5? Will it run well on Windows 7 Starter Edition on a machine with 1GB RAM? most likely as the system requirements for MMF/ Fusion are not high, i suspect my 2007 Macbook Pro would be able to run Fusion through bootcamp fine. (just from the impression i get from using 2.5)

  • With regards to the Mac editor, there's been some news on Reddit about it.

In general, there's a Mac editor and exporter coming to Fusion 2.5 "soon". The rest of the details about compatibility and what it offers to the current version are bits and bops scattered around the place. I think more info. might be released in a few weeks.
