Please help me with a media player

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

    So I am trying to make a media player. I am having an issue and cant figure out why its doing what it's doing. It loads the video but only plays the sound and not the video. Trying to play avi and am using the direct show extension. Heres what i have done its very basic right now as i just started on it and it just refuses to show the video.

    Also if someone could help me with dragging a video into the player to make it start playing that video that would be great thanks. :)

    ok so it seems it does workj but for spome reason it doesnt work on any of my avi episodes of friends for the first 8 seasons but seasons 9 and 10 work and all other movies and shows work like a charm i dont understand. also the drag and drop thing would be nice :)

    If some .AVI files works and some not, those AVI files are very likely encoded differently.

    Never tried doing dragging, but I'm quite sure there is a extension for that. :)

    Hey, Mark. Check the file archive -> widgets section, there's a drag and drop widget for opening files that way.
