Procedural Generation in MMF2/CF2.5 (GGJ)

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • Like in the topic any ideas how to make a procedurally generated content in Clickteam products?

Audio should be possible thanks to Looki's Audio extensions (based on sfxr) but the game content as graphics?

The only concept I'm having is doing some kind of vertex based graphics where we have only 1 px object nad we change it's colour size rotation and size...

    But then:

    1) Is there any way to access hot spot controls from the event editor?
    2) Is there possibility to change position of action and hot spot position from the event editor?
    3) Any other ideas how to achieve it?

    End is near.

  • Got idea - use a screenshoot object to generate 1 px graphic, which can be loaded and edited by Active Picture, and reused as obstacles, enemies and so on.

Alternatively we could use Surface Object, if I would dare to know how to use this moloch.

    End is near.
