Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • I've posted about Python elsewhere on the Forums:

Please login to see this link.

It was suggested I post to the respective forum. I've copied the Python.mfx file from my MMF2 Dev Extensions folder to my Fusion 2.5 Dev Extensions folder. 2.5 "sees" it if I open the Extension Manager and has the option to "Install." When I click install it gives an error that the file cannot be downloaded. It's not in the list of objects I can select to add to my project. Is the Python extension supported in 2.5?

Please login to see this link.

  • I told you it´s working - i personnaly use it under f2.5!
Just place all files in the f2.5 folder

Edit. And because i'm a nice guy : the extension thread : Please login to see this link.

  • I appreciate you being such a nice guy. It appears, though, that it's not working in 2.5. I opened mmf_functions.mfx. As soon as I open it in 2.5 it asks what language I want. English is already selected. I press OK. I then press the F8 key to run the application. I get the following error:

"Cannot load Python.mfx. This object might need an external program or library not yet installed."

It appears to be a 2.5 issue as when I run the same file (but from MMF2 Dev) it works fine. No asking me for my default language, no errors. It opens up a console as it should.

Please login to see this link.

  • Sorry but did you try to install it from the link I provided? Because it sounds like you only copy mfx from your mmf2 folder, the fact is there is also dll and zip dependencies files to this extension.
Again, it works perfectly on my f2.5 installation, that means you did something wrong.

The language thing is normal - fusion 2.5 always ask this when you load mmf2 mfa files. No relation with the python object.

  • I'm having the same error as Kracker, and did the same process with the zip file. I'm trying to test it by just having a python object in the first frame of my application that doesn't do anything. Would I be getting the error message "Cannot load Python.mfx. This object may need an external program or library not yet installed." if I'm not having the python object run or do anything?

  • Thank you for this amazing extension. I am running this in 2.5 developer version. To solve the Cannot load Python.mfx issue go to Please login to see this link. and install python 2.7 using pythons installer. I also installed the console extension.

  • i have the same problem with this bug:
"Cannot load Python.mfx. This object might need an external program or library not yet installed."

    using mmf 2.5 (pro) on win7 X64

i have installed "python Windows X86-64 MSI Installer (2.7)" from your link ...no way, dont understand where is the problem...:(
