FNAF Mechanics Camera Trouble

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Clickteam.
  • Hi! I am new to clickteam fusion; I just got the standard version yesterday. I know how to use it and have prior programming knowledge, but am having trouble making something. I have been watching Amazingsparckman's tutorial on making Five Nights at Freddy's. I know you're probably thinking that this is too difficult for me but I knew that going in to it. That aside, I was doing everything just fine until I tried to make the cameras. The first camera works fine, but whenever I click somewhere else on the map, it doesn't do anything. The idea i had was:
If user clicks within a zone, then...

But that didn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this.

  • Without seeing your events its going to be hard to say what wrong.

Does Sparkman give out an example file with the video? If so you can open it up and see how he does it.
All the tutorial I have seen him do in the past the techniques are pretty straight forward.

Please login to see this link.

  • Don't use the "click within a zone" because when the camera pans, your camera buttons will stay anchored to the view screen but the actual "zone" that players need to click will pan away. Use "user clicks on object" instead of "user clicks within zone". :)
