Is it possible to rotate the frame?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

  • In windows you can use a pixel shader to rotate the screen but to work best you might need to use a sub app that is the same height and width and host that in your main application.

You need a shader called Rotate from Complex Softwares, you should be able to Please login to see this link..

The example file has an 'Effect' set to the frame. I think you could add it to layers and active objects too, but in this case it is for the entire frame. There is an effect parameter called fAngle and you set this to the angle you want to rotate the frame. The frame in Fusion remains the right way up, but your 3D-enabled graphics card applies the pixel shader before the user sees it and rotates it around.

I my example I have set the frame to a square. This will mean that you will see the box shape rotate at the edges as the frame shape, but if you put this MFA into a sub app of another frame and make the window size smaller you can eliminate that (think like it is pointing a camera at a bigger picture but your lens is zoomed into the action and cuts off the outer parts).

Pixel shaders are a great feature and there are loads out ready to be used with Fusion if you have not tried them before.

    Hope this helps.
