How do I delete header menu bar items from within the event editor?

How do I delete header menu bar items from within the event editor?

I've tried using the "Advanced Menu Object" but it's pretty messy and doesn't have much in the way of documentation or examples. It also doesn't seem like it's possible to delete items not created with the object.

All I want to do is delete several items that have been specified in the project properties, depending on a certain number of conditions in the event editor.

Is this possible to do?

I mean the application menu bar, yes.

Anyone?

I've tried the Advanced Menu Object, but it's extremely buggy. If you put three "delete item" in a row, it will sometimes delete all three, sometimes less and sometimes none on each application launch.

Please, is there no other solution?

I have a lot of options available on application launch and wish to delete some of them on start depending on whether or not certain global variables are set.
