I have AVG and it worked fine yesterday, now I cant open my steam version, it says that it's allready open and it's not open at all.

Maybe reboot your computer and check your AVG settings.

Perhaps you tested an Android application with your phone and USB-Debugging. Then you probably have to kill the adb process manually to avoid the Steam error message.

I got this same problem. Fusion was working before, but after installing beta version, it won't start anymore.

AVG and Steam don't seem to play very nice together all the time.

I have Avast. I got the Fusion working after reinstalling the whole Steam.

+1 for killing adb.exe if you have the Steam version. If you did anything with android it will run adb.exe in the background and Steam will think it's running Clickteam the whole time even when it's not. If it comes up again double check your task manager for it and kill it. That will fix it!

Same thing happened to me today. Updated to the latest CTF 2.5 Steam beta, Avast popped its security warning and started scanning and then all went in an infinite loop.
CTF 2.5 splash screen - nothing - splash screen again and so on.I had to kill the process and close Steam. After than all was well.
