    Help with objects floating/different behaviour of objects if on water

    Every frame is going through my thought process, and the latest is how I think I should solve it, but I make it worse.
    In my mind, frame 3 should work, but I guess once the criteria "touch the water" the engine is treating all the wood_boxes as a single instance despite the flag that separates them.

    Last frame I try to spread an ID through them, but I'm actually not sure how comparing the value vs. a loop index works.

    but it's not quite what I need, I need the box to behave differently depending if it's on water or not.

    bump, still stuck on this, can maybe go around it, but I'd rather fix it.

    I decided to not implement this since I couldn't figure it out, and wasn't really core, but would love to learn a solution
