Android Keystore File Generation

Hi All,

How are you guys generating your Android Keystore file?

I used to use the Keystore file generator created by Clickteam but I currently cannot use this as whenever I try to create a .keystore file it generates a file with 0bytes and is invisible within the file location I set. Has anyone every encountered this?

I think output file needs to be saved on C root drive.

I have tried that, this is nuts. Im going to create a VM and see if I can put a different OS on there to see if it will work.

What is Yours and VM system? ;>
I strongly disrecommend Win 8 7 and 10 are definitely more stable.

Have U got a admin rights (local/domain) and UAC off?
Try with turned off User Account Control or click right key and click run as administrator.
Check Your permission to directories with keystore.exe, keytool.exe, and destination yourapp.keystore
Try in different localisations for example in MyDocuments directory.
