So, I have my game setup to run another application from the base game.
The goal here is to have a seperate software play and pick through songs while you play the base game.
A sort of radio.

But heres the thing, it does not allow me to do ANYTHING at all on the original game when the other file is open.
I tried fiddling with files and applications and even tried a work around using a .bat file (none of these worked however).

So, is there a way I can fix this? Or is it just the engine working how it is supposed to which will never allow me to get around this issue?
