Last [object] has been destroyed, not triggering?

I have an odd situation where "Last [object] has been destroyed" is not triggering, even though it's an exact copy of the same events and objects in another frame. I destroy an object in one event (this is working, I tested with an End Application action) and immediately after I used "Last [object] has been destroyed" and no matter what I do, it won't trigger. There's only one of them, and oddly enough in the working frame, when I destroy the object it disappears as usual from the Debugger, but when I do the same in the non-working frame, it just says "deleted". Also, during testing, the working frame counts 1 of the object and 0 when it's destroyed, but always counts 1 of the object after it's destroyed on the non-working frame. I even tried running a forEach loop to destroy them all, but it's just won't destroy. Any ideas why?

When it destroys an object, Fusion runs its "Disappear" animation. Does this animation end or does it loop forever? Though you say it's the same object in the working frame, so probably it's not the reason.

Actually, on the non-working frame it reports as "disappearing" and the frames count up, but on the working frame, it just disappears immediately. Does Fusion trigger "Last [object] has been destroyed" after it's destroyed animation has played or as the animation begins? EDIT: it seems to be animation frame that's being set and is causing the disappearing animation to skip on the working frame, does Destroy not override any animation settings like force frame?

I think it's when the animation ends.
