    No TGA with Alpha Channel

I do like that MMF2 now includes alpha channels also, but it doesn't work with tga files at all. It only works with png files.

Unfortunally a number of rendering applications I do own do not use png files at all, only tga files with aplha channels.

Will tga files with alpha channels be included also, or am I stuck with converting all my tga files one by into png files?

I've tried a number of batch conversion applications ( including Photoshop Elements 2), but they do not recognize the tga alpha channel correctly at all. Serif PhotoPlus 9 does it, but has no batch processing at all.

    Try http://www.gimp.org/

It's completely free software. I've used it to edit PNG files before.

Re: No TGA with Alpha Channel

Well I dont know if this helps at all, but MMF2's image editor lets you edit both the visable channel and the alpha channel. Its just kind of hidden, so you have to click around and find it. (Look for buttons you never saw in MMF before ;-))

This is nice because if you can seperate the visable image and the alpha channel image (I'm sure you could find some program that does it on Google), then you can paste them into the correct spots, close, and save. Works great!
