    create opposite direction

As i understand it, create rotated directions is mostly used for space shooter games or car games or such. You press it and you want the current direction to rotate into all the directions.

however, what i dont understand is, why does 'create opposite direction' rotate the direction aswell? I assumed this function is more used for platform games where you want your characters to be able to look to the right and left. Thus i thought it would flip the image, not rotate it. I was wrong. That function is just like create rotated direction but it only does it for the opposite direction...

shouldn't this be changed? cause at the moment its rather tedious.

This was a "problem" in MMF 1.5 too, nothing to complain about though. We have more important requests for the animation editor, let them take priority first. All it takes is a simple horizontal flip. Nothing extreme.

its still very much a bug, eventhough i agree there are many more vital problems, i see no reason not to report it. Let clickteam decide whats most important in the end.

on the other hand, i had never even noticed the create opposite direction button in mmf 1.5 i guess they placed the function abit better now ey? =)

It's not a bug. It's supposed to be like that. I'd like it better if it didn't end up upside down, since i mostly (read: never) don't do a top down perspective. But this is what happens when you rotate something.

    Re: create opposite direction

I just noticed that the MMF2 picture editor can't flip horizontally an imported PNG24 image. It's a limitation or a bug? Any workaround to deal with this?
