    Add object to background

I want to add skid-tracks to a racing game im working on. Using a transparent active and adding it to backdrop lots of times looks pretty nice. However, i read somewhere that there is a limit for many background objects you can have? Does this affect add backdrop?

Is there any better method for this kind of effect?

im sure paste image into background must be more memory friendly or?

    anyone?

    Re: Add object to background

The maximum number of backdrop objects you can add with the Add Backdrop Object action is given by the "maximum number of objects" property in the Frame properties. For example if the maximum number is 500, that means you can have 500 active objects AND 500 added backdrop objects.

Paste Image Into Background is not limited but the pasted images are erased when the screen scrolls or is refreshed.
