You can certainly have subapps without menus and title bars - I had rectangular bars in MMF 1.2 <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If you put the Windows Shape object in both the main app and the subapp, you can make the subapp whatever shape you want.

You can make a subapp resizable. Not sure about moving out of the main app, but I believe you can move it if it has a thick border. Not sure if that applies to a subapp with Windows Shape either.
