About the menu option that disappears, that's normal. The "Full Screen Alt+Enter" option is automatically removed from the menu if the "Allow user to switch to/from full screen" option is not selected. If you want to do your own full screen option, for example with the Maximize / Restore options of the Window Control object, you have to add your own Full Screen menu entry (instead of using the predefined option).

hmmm....the "Allow user to switch..." option is enabled in my sample....the option "Full Screen" does appear in the menu editor but it is not there when the app is running.

Allow people to switch to full screen is disabled in a MDI application. I believe someone else tried this as well.

Ah, yes I didn't see the option was selected. In fact it shouldn't be selectable in MDI mode, there is a bug in the app properties : the full screen properties should be disabled as soon as you click the "MDI" option, actually they are disabled only when you unselect and re-select the application.

    Re: MDI issues

I did some more investigation.....I have MDI main frame #1 with no objects besides a sub-app for the next frame. In the frame #2 I have system background box of the same size as the frame and window control object. I set resize-always-minimize (maximize) in frame #2 and run app - resize does not work for these two options. I set resize-always-...and set the size of my app (800*600) and it works. My child window will come up with the right size (not maximized, though). It seems like minimize/maximize does not work for window control but fixed size does.
