    Irrlicht, where to make ...

    Hi all HaPPy CLiCKeRS !
    I heard something that we will be able to use Quake3 maps in the Irrlicht extension, so.. where can i make thoose maps? in what program? also, where can i make some models?

    Supposedly MilkShape 3D is also good for modeling/mapping... If I recall correctly it has a Quake3 exporting plugin as well.

    Also, before doing a lot of 3D stuff... you might want to wait for some announcements on the Irrlicht extension first. Things have been a little quiet around that project lately.

    I'm pretty sure you can use gmax tempest to build quake models. I've tried both milkshape and gmax, and gmax is infinitely better. Gmax is actually a toned down version of 3ds max, which is one of the leading commercial 3d modelling programs.
