    "Set input device" apparently buggy

    Hello,

I use MMF2 Standard unter Windows XP Home.

Since my arcade game has only one player without fire buttons and the native player control window is not customizable I made my own menu option to switch between keyboard and joystick. However, when I set the input device to joystick, it continually pulls down and to the right. Also, upon restarting or changing the frame in this state, the whole program hangs. If I select the joystick in the native window, everything works fine after that (including my own action).

The glitches occured in the compiled program, too (I also tested it on a second computer), and also in a quickly created test application.

I think I see a possible reason for this problem, but I'm not 100% sure. If you select the joystick for player 1 in the default controls of your application (in the app properties), does this solve the problem? If so, I'll fix it.

Yes, if the joystick is already selected on boot-up then it seems to work fine.
