GIF question :(

I was working on some project for a company here where important part was external loading of animated gifs. But now I recognized that Active Picture only displays the first frame and there is no way how force it to play it! Please is there any other way? Dont suggest me Video Pro, it doesnt have alt. values so its useless for me, thank you!

use the "animation" object. that will play Gifs, AVI and Fli files

Animation object? Hmm dont know that. If it has alterable values than it will be exactly what Im looking for.

its an object thats been in MMF since 1.0, but in MMF2.0 it supports AVI and GIFs not just FLI like it did in 1.x

if it doesn't have alterable values you could always use an hidden active object for the alterable values?

No, I cant use other counters, I need to spread value and use up to 32 instances..is it Pairs game..

If you think AVI object, it doesnt have alt.values
