Talking about add/subtract... is it possible to have something like fog ALL over the place, and make only specific spots visable?

With the overlay redux, yes, it is... Although it would be difficult to make the edges of the fog "fade" from being see-through to opaque, without the use of Add or Subtract.

Although this would only look any good if you wanted the Fog to be black, like fog of war or something. Or it could be stark white, but that would be weird.

I really hope this extension gets the new inks soon. It will make MMF2 so much more powerful for graphics.

Wouldn't this run very slow? I remember an example about it in MMF1.5 and that wasn't an option.

It would be the fastest possible option, and could lead to very nice results....once it can do subtract ink mode that is. the speed should be about the same as having a full-screen subtract mode active object over everything. For any modern pc, that wont hurt the frame rate much at all.
