Maybe instead of making an build flash option maybe they could make a flash file that plays .ccn's? It might be just as hard but I'm not sure.

I think that is not an option because Flash would need to know all the MMF routines like the way Yves does.

From MMF2>Flash would properbly be the best way. Im sure this is going to work out because about everything (without extensions) in portable to flash.

    Re: Exporting to Flash

People like Jeff and AndyH (and others) through the V-Cade have tried very hard to raise the profile of Vitalize. Unfortunately it seems to have limited success and I imagine 90% of people with vitalize installed are Clickteam users. It is the catch 22 problem, people wont use it much on websites unless everyone has it installed and everyone won't install it if they never need to because it is not well used or known about outside of CT users.

Having played around with Java a lot I think a Java runtime could be constructed that can run CNN files. It might be tough to get around the security limitations for applets but is possible, by paying to get the code certificated for example. Extensions could be a big problem but if that was over come (or at least the main objects supported) then I see no reason why a Java runtime is not technically viable.

If Clickteam goes down either Flash or Java routes then hopefully they can hire a third party to develop the code so that Yves and Francois can carry on developing the core MMF features. It seems a risky strategy to have 50% of your development team on something that might not succeed.

if i was CT, i wouldnt make a flash or java program that could play .ccn files, you can get the source code to flash programs and java programs so it is kind of like giving the source
