    string transparency?

There doesnt appear to be any way to get the current semi-transparency ratio of a string object.

You can set its semi-transparency, but you cant get its value again. It doesnt have the action in the object itself and you cant get it by comparing 2 general values in the special conditions object either.

All i'm wanting to do is:

Every 1 second Set strings semi-transparency to strings semi-transparency-1

I've had to set a counter to 128 then every second minus 1 from counter, then set the strings transparency to counter!

    It's true.

That is it's true that it's true, not it's true that you are blind.

    Re: string transparency?

I usually use an alterable value to store the intended semi-transparency of an object anyway, so I can directly compare the semitransparencies of objects. Of course, this doesn't apply to strings.
