[]...you should instead just leave them in the frame editor and then destroy them on the start of the frame...[/]

Yeah, you'd have to place them out of the frame so that you don't see the destroy anim, but I guess that should be okay... kind of sloppy, but otherwise harmless, I suppose.

There's also a bug where if I have something in the frame editor that also has a create action in the event editor, it won't let me delete it from the frame - it'll give me the warning about deleting it will delete all the events. This is no the case with 99% of my objects, but I have one that reappeared in the frame editor out of nowhere, and it won't let me delete it.

In any case, I think the only way you should be able to permanently delete an object from your frame is in the Workspace Toolbar (select the object in the frame tree and delete it) or the icon list to the left of the frame editor.

[]Or make it easier to include objects that aren't placed in the frame editor. I hate cluttering up the frame editor with 50 unnecessary objects, but as we've seen before the "create object" events sometimes don't properly keep track of objects unless they exist in the frame editor. [/]

Yeah, you should be able to add an object to your frame by right-clicking in the icon list and adding it - or by dragging it from another frame into your workspace toolbar's list of objects in your frame (or into the icon list of objects). It's kind of annoying to have to actually put it in your frame for it to exist... but I'm sure there's a reason for this.
