    Screen resize feature suggestion

Most people find it very annoying when a 2D game is changing their resolution in full screen (most games are in 320x240). Unfortunately, when the game crashes, there's big possibility that the user remains stuck in the resolution and then hates the game forever and even afraid to run it again.

I have seen games on the internet that resizes the game's screen to fit into the user's resolution without losing the aspect ration. Surrounded by black (much like MMF/2's border feature). I think this will be a perfect feature for MMF2. People that run on 1280x1024 can enjoy small screens games without the change of resolution.

Would this be possible for MMF2? Or are there already methods to do this in my games?
    Thanks! <img src="/center/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Just check the "Maximized on boot-up" option and uncheck the "Heading, "Heading when maximized" and "Menu bar" options (in the Application properties), that should work.

I was actually talking about something else. However, I think I'm able to manage what I want in runtime. <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

The maximize/minimize action of the window Control object also does it but at runtime. The border color is set in the properties of the application.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what he means, but what I got from it is he wants features like 2x or 4x resolutions but within a window, sort of. Several emulators have this. I always wanted that myself, but it's not necessary, but would be cool.

Right now you can have window resize object and "fill screen", but that can create issues when you play in real fullscreen and your resolution isn't parallel, and if you make something like 2x that way it doesn't do it perfectly and some doubled pixels are squashed.
