Discussing the future of CICK/ClickDoc

Hello everyone . I wanted to start this thread so we could start discussion on what will happen with CICK 2 and ClickDoc 2. CB hasn't been very active recently and I am unsure if he has any plans to continue work on these tools.

In addition new tools should be made for movements and transitions...

Perhaps one open source, universal IDE for this type of thing should be created?

    Any thoughts?

If anyone wants the CICK source they are welcome to it - the one on my website is an old one. Since it is very straightforward to make a program like CICK, probably better to make a completly new project.

    Great,

Looking at porting it to MMF2 looks like it uses the registry object and upzipit object, which hasn't been ported to MMF2 Dev.

No problem I'll just work around these things.

I've started by refractoring some of the code and grouping some of the objects to make it easier to read.

CLICKTEAM : I've getting a bug where I can't scroll to the top of the frame editor. Have a look at the first screen to see what I mean.

I say we make the new CICK in c# and have it as an open source project .

Re: Discussing the future of CICK/ClickDoc

Making it in C# would certainly make it easier.

Hey is it possible to make it as a plug-in to say Visual Studio C++ express, so it intergrated.
I read it can be done in other versions of studio.

I suggest targeting Visual Studio c++ express simply because of its being modern and freely available.

    What do you think Vortex2?

Re: Discussing the future of CICK/ClickDoc

I would like to help but if it'll be made with C# I won't be able to help, I suggest we should use MMF2, or MMF1.5 if we need unconvertable extensions.
