    Sinewave movement question

Looking at the sinewave movement examples, I noticed that all the objects has fixed values. I mean, fixed final X, final Y, amplitude.. etc So it is impossible at the moment to use in some enemy in a scrolling game, since the final x and final y would be relative to the enemy's position in the frame, right? Or I'm missing something?

    thanks

Hmm, depends on how you want to use it. If you want the sinewave to reset\reverse once just off screen then yes a scrolling level causes a problem.

But you could use the control extension to force the movement to reset\reverse if the x postion is less than a certain value, which could be the screen offset value.

    Re: Sinewave movement question

I guess I do explaing this better with images:

    the same for spaceship games

but reading your post I figured out what you mean.. I guess it's possible to place some equation related to the position of the enemy to set up their finalX and finalY value?

Anyway, based on the images what is possible and what is could cause problems?

    thanks
