Do you mean games or the applications themselves? Either way not yet (maybe never).

    Re: MMF on Mac

I've been holding out for a mac version since Games Factory. Klik & play was the only version to get ported to the mac so far.. It's for OS 9 and earlier, but really designed for the system 7.5 days..

I think they're still looking for a mac programmer to do the port, so far, no one's stepped up for the challenge..

Im more interested on Linux compatibility.

I dont use it much, but I do oneday want to switch to linux, the only thing stopping me is all the programs that run on windows (especialy MMF)

Yes, there are many rapid multimedia application developmen tools that run on macs, like director or even flash, but linux got no easy tool. It would be really nice to get at least a runtime for other platforms, and I believe this won't be impossible, since we did see this for Jamagic (with its Pocket PC runtime).

[]Im more interested on Linux compatibility.[/]

That's what I'm looking for! Linux compatibility so that I can make games and programs on Ubuntu and that can be ported over to other Linux distro's. I have Ubuntu on my laptop, along with WinXP Home, and aside from periodic lag to due software conflicts, it works great and would be an awesome addition to the Clickteam family of products.

I personally wouldn't mind a Mac OSX version either since plan on turning one of my PC's into a custom Intel x86 Mac Tower. I have never used Mac OSX, so this way I can get used to it and still use a great program within it.

Here's hoping that Clickteam can hear our pleas for a Linux and Mac distro.

    Re: MMF on Mac

The core MMF2 runtime no longer has big chunks in ASM, so it should be easier for Clickteam to allow for MMF2 creations to run on different platforms.

I don't know how easy it'd be to make the MMF2 development environment work under a different OS, but I'm guessing it is easier now they don't have to work with third-party Corel code.

    Re: MMF on Mac

Should be.. I'm guessing they're waiting for some cash to trickle in for MMF2 here on the PC side before investing more into it.

I think it will be a big job porting it over, but since it is all in C++, there shouldn't be much of a problem.. Mac's are really starting to pick up at the moment, have you guys seen their preview of the latest OS - Leopard?? Man, to put it simply - ITS DEEP!

The Mac is an awesome OS, but there isn't anything other than a program called RealBasic that is suited for App development. Theres a massive gap in the market for MMF on the mac side, and since Mac guys are usually graphics-oriented anyway (and so is the programming approach of MMF), I think it was a match made in heaven from the start.
