Problem With Saving

When save my file as an exe it works but then after that I can't open the exe file. Why wont it work? I have mmf2 dev. I saved my file as a mfa and then an exe. I changed the icon and then I noticed it created a new one. I click on it and it makes a black screen and says something about it not able to find something, I forget. I try it with the original and same thing. I saved it as a zip and it still wouldn't work when I said open. Please help me! Also if there is a special way to open zip files please tell me because I probably wouldn't know it.

It would help alot if you could tell us what it said in the dialog.

Well what in the dialog was like " Invalid Data Program Will End When You Hit Close" And the icon i used was homemade and saved as dll.

Try delete the file and save it again.
Which extensions do you use in your game?

Also you didn't mention which icon you said it showed instead of your own...

Yes did it showed my home made one I was wondering if that could have anything to do with it. Also how do you compile an exe because I don't know anything about saving other than saving. But if it was compiled it was 1. 57 mb and the one with the icon was 2.78kb and it said shortcut to MS-DOS Program. Also I tried it again and it says exactly, The file name then "Invalid program file name, please check your pif file. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application." also the same black screen behind it just opened up and closed with no warning when i used the one without the icon.

Oh and btw the only extensions I have are bonus pack 1.

By compiling i mean building as an .exe file.

And I was asking which extensions you are using in the file that cannot be built properly. I doubt you use all extensions from bonus pack 1.

Let me see... Didn't use any extensions at all in this one. Oh and the only extensions I own are from bonus pack one cause after 4 viruses in one website I used alot we've been strict on downloading. Also I haven't upgraded my developer version with the patches.

Can you upload the file please? If it's not for the public to see your file, you can e-mail it to Yves (Francois is on vacation right now) and tell him how to reproduce the bug step by step. What you did, what you expected it to do and what it did instead.
