The open topic forum is centered more on the stuff like how to make enemies follow the player and stuff, whereas this forum is more centered on MMF2 bugs and stuff. Sometimes the moderators lock threads that get "off-topic" for thier forum. It's really up to you whether or not to re-post it there, though <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
