I can't seem to figure out how to get rulers in the event editor or in the animation picture editor. When I type ruler or rulers in the help search, I get no topics. And I think I've clicked on every button I can think of.

[]The rulers have been removed, they were in the Corel UI that we no longer use.[/]
That was for the frame editor, but I'm guessing it applies throughout MMF2.

don't understand. How can you work without rulers? Can you name another authoring or graphics application that does not have rulers!!!!!!! I just started using MMF2 and I'm completly lost without them. I use them constantly. Maybe someone else has a way of using something else to take the place of the rulers? Sorry, but I'm just amazed.

Rulers? Sometimes when I draw game characters, I don't want to be slavish to the perfectly straight line and nintey degree angle. As such I just let whatever flow. I don't really miss the rulers because I jumped right from TGF 1.5 into MMF2D.....

For those that miss there rulers in MMF2 you can make an active object with a graphic ruler.
Then put it in the library and drop it on the screen when you need it.
Alternatively you could put it in your template.

Yes, that is a good work around idea. A lot of the funtionality of the rulers would be lost, however. Thanks.
For what it's worth, I've been talking to several of my programming, graphic artist, and authoring friends. They all agreed that they would not consider buying any graphics or authoring program or consider it to be "professional" without rulers. In my mind this puts MMF2 back to only a game creation application and not as a professional applications creation program. The artists said that they would not touch or consider any graphics application without them - not that they used them as much as I do. This just seems like a huge step back for MMF2, especially in the picture editor.

I'm making a lot of small and big applications with MMF1.5 and know with MMF2 and I never use Rulers. I use them with Photoshop but it's a graphic application.
I don't understand why rulers are so important. It's clearly a very little step back for MMF2 but I think you exaggerate when you say that we can't use MMF2 without them...
