Try sitesled, it's free and you get 100mb of web space and no compulsary ads whatsoever. It's not particularly reliable, but what can you expect <img src="/center/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

On that last point, the forum rules states that files that cause harm intentional or not could result in expulsion from the forum and even legal action. I certainly wouldn't expect you to release files to intentionally cause harm, but if you have the slightest doubts about the trustworthyness of your host, I'd switch right away.

the host's terms of service (legal statements i presume) stated that they didn't accept any illegal or immoral files being hosted &amp; these were immediately removed. I don't know how much this affects my liability compared to that of the host's.
